Expect Realty Looks to Warm Up the Gulf Coast This Winter

Expect Realty aims to make sure no one on the Coast goes cold this winter, giving gently used coats a new life through its inaugural coat drive underway now through Nov. 1. 

“On the Mississippi Gulf Coast, we don’t often think about coats or supporting ways to keep those in need warm until we get our first round of cold air, and then it’s too late. We want to have coats in the hands of those who need them so they are prepared and warm when that bone chilling cold arrives,” said Expect Realty Broker and CEO Bryan David. “As people look ahead to fall, or maybe go through the children’s clothes for school, we encourage them to look at their coat closet, as well.”

Collected coats will be delivered and distributed to those in need through Our Daily Bread, Back Bay Mission and local schools. Coats of all sizes and weights may be donated at one of five drop-off locations, including:
